ABOUT WILDTHING ADVENTURES

Established in 1989, Wildthing Adventures is an Outdoor Adventure company that specialises in soft adventures for all age groups (from 8 years and older) as well as fun, adrenaline pumping activities.

In the past we have concentrated on the South African Market, catering to the needs of groups of friends and families as well as the corporate market. We have relied strongly on word of mouth advertising and have succeeded in establishing a good name in the adventure market with the majority of our business being return business.

Our company, as well as all our guides are registered with SARA (S.A. Rivers Association), South African Tourism and local organisations.

Our guides have Specialised Guide certification and come from interesting nature or conservation backgrounds. We practice a safety first approach to outdoor adventure and are proud of our safety record. The Breede River originates in the GREAT Hex River Mountains and winds it's way through beautiful green valleys, picturesque vineyards and quaint little towns such as Worcester, Robertson and Bonnievale before it disappears into the Indian Ocean at Witsand.

The tranquil Breede River presents you with several different options, in venues and time spent on the river. BRIDGE JUMPING

BRIDGE JUMPING was initiated in South Africa by WILDTHING ADVENTURES, established in 1989.

Wildthing Adventures has a safety first approach and the crew is professionally trained.

The only place in the world where you can experience this ultimate high of - BRIDGE TO BRIDGE JUMP / SWING - is at the Gouritz River Bridge (between Mossel Bay and Albertinia, about 350km along the N2 from Cape Town).

There are two ways of doing this crazy activity - either just stop off on your mind or come along for a weekend package or get your company involved in our specialised corporate team building adventure.
