Rooiberg Krans 13 is situated within Rooiberg Krans
Private Game Lodge and offers luxury accommodation near
Bela Bela (Warmbaths) close to the little town or village
of Rooiberg in Limpopo Province.
It is situated approximately one and a half hours from
Pretoria and about two hours from Johannesburg making
it especially an ideal weekend breakaway and a perfect
longer retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.
ABOUT ROOIBERG KRANS
The village or small town of Rooiberg, situated between
Bela Bela (Warmbaths) and Thabazimbi in Limpopo Province,
was once the residence of employees of the Rooiberg
Tin Mine. When the mine closed down in the early 1990's
the town became deserted and was fast becoming a ghost
town.
Fortunately a consortium purchased the town and started
selling the houses to private buyers. Now most of the
houses have been purchased and renovated, mostly by
pensioners looking for a quiet and restful place to
retire.
There are a number of private game lodges- and nature
reserves in the area, for example Rooiberg Krans.
Rooiberg Krans is an established private game reserve
with a variety of antelope and small mammals.

Rates are for the entire house per night
Out of season: R2200 per day
Long weekends: R2500 per day
Midweek Special:
Monday to Friday (4 nights): R4000 per week
** The midweek Special excludes long weekends and December

NATURE, WILDLIFE & BIRDLIFE
Rooiberg Krans has a variety of antelope and small
game, including impala, nyala, kudu, giraffe, warthog,
zebra, duiker, mongoose, steenbok, civet and small spotted
genet.
This bushveld area has a large variety of plant life
including trees, shrubs, grasses, wild flowers and fern
species. These attract a large number of insect species
including numerous butterflies.
Birdlife is prolific especially during the summer months.
