LOCATIONModjadji Camp is part of the African Ivory Route and situated within the Modjadji Cycad Reserve, near Tzaneen in Limpopo. Modjadji Camp is located near Modjadji Royal Kraal, home of the mystical Rain Queen Modjadji, hereditary ruler of the Balobedu people, renowned for her rain making powers. Guided visits to the kraal of the Rain Queen can be arranged for visitors to the camp, while various cultural activities including dancing and storytelling can be experienced. GPS Coordinates: ACCOMMODATIONModjadji Camp is situated in the Modjadji Cycad Reserve and offers basic and rustic self-catering accommodation in traditional, cultural huts or bungalows with communal ablution facilities. A communal kitchen with basic facilities, including a gas stove, fridge, freezer, plates and mugs, chairs, tables and eating utensils are provided. Staff members will be on hand to assist visitors.
