NAMBITI PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

Nambiti Private Game Reserve, home to the Big 5 and malaria free, is located in KwaZulu-Natal near Ladysmith and is about two and a half hours’ drive from Durban. 

 

Besides the attractions of the Big 5, there are 40 mammal species. Nambiti’s biodiversity includes grasslands, riverine bush, savannah and thornveld. Birders would not be disappointed as the birdlife is abundant.

The majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range, a World Heritage Site is less than an hour away and has numerous activities including hiking, quad biking, white water rafting, 4×4 trails, mountain biking, horse riding, canopy tours, rock climbing, kayaking and fly fishing.
