Transfrontier Parks

This is a new concept in the world. South Africa has no less than six parks straddling the borders with Namibia, Botswana Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland and Lesotho, jointly administered with the country concerned. Most of the areas have only very recently been proclaimed and are still in the developing stages. They are relatively remote and unspoilt by human encroachment. These are unique areas with vast tracts of pristine wilderness. Here you can experience the essence of Africa where wildlife still moves freely across political borders and nature rules supreme.
