Buhala Game Lodge, near Malelane, is a 4-star Game Lodge, a winner of the World Luxury Hotels Awards in 2007, as well as a winner of the AA Best Accommodation Awards in 2007.
It is an enchanting Game Lodge right on the banks of the Crocodile River, the border of the Kruger National Park.
It has luxury accommodation in ten double rooms, each with spacious en suite bathroom and all fully air-conditioned.
The Lodge has a cozy bar, comfortable lounge and swimming pool.
A waterhole at the bottom of the garden is frequented by Elephant, buffalo, hippos, and many antelope amongst other animals and birds. Guests sitting on the verandah sipping sundowners or lazing around the pool have a wonder view of these fascinating animals when they come down to drink, while friendly staff cater to your every whim.
Birding is excellent at Buhala, with over 200 species of birds recorded on the property.
With a menu consisting of superb international cuisine and an extensive wine list, fine food and wines are served on the deck under candlelight and the whole atmosphere is one of casual elegance, great comfort and tranquility.
For ultimate relaxation and pampering, try the treatment at our "bush Spa" on an outdoor deck for massages, pedicures, manicures etc.

Elephant Garden Suites
These are 2 garden suites overlooking the river, each with a splash pool, own veranda, equipped with a bar fridge, indoor an outdoor shower, as well as a bath in the bedroom from where you can watch the game at the river, while relaxing in the bath.
