This butterfly, the Garden Inspector (Precis archesia) is a beautiful butterfly and has a dry season and a wet season form. This photo is of the dry season form. They habituate the Southeastern and Eastern coastline, as well as the Northern regions of South Africa; and are commonly found in gardens. When visiting lodges in these regions, visitors could be sure to find these and other beautiful butterflies in the lodges’ gardens.
