Ivory Tree Game Lodge is set in the Big 5 Pilanesberg National Park and offers a 5 star luxury safari experience, close to Sun City.
Ivory Tree Game Lodge offers luxurious 5 star accommodation, efficient and friendly service, a variety of activities to choose from including opportunities to view the Big 5 and a wide range of other animals while on a safari game viewing drive.
Pilanesberg National Park also referred to as Pilanesberg Game Reserve, is malaria free and about 2 hours’ drive from from Johannesburg.
ACCOMMODATION
Ivory Tree Game Lodge is a 5-Star Lodge comprising of 67 luxury hotel suites. The suites are decorated in a range of earthly tones ranging from terra cotta's to deep blues, the rooms have been carefully co-ordinated to ensure comfortable seating both indoors and out.
Standard Suites
Each suite accommodates a maximum of two adults.
Each room is tastefully decorated with African décor and a range of amenities for guests’ comfort and enjoyment. The room, which can accommodate two adults in 2 single beds or a king-size bed configuration, offers en-suite bathroom facilities and for the more adventurous guest, an outdoor shower under the African sun. Each of the standard rooms also features a relaxing outdoor sitting area.
Luxury Suite
4 luxury suites, each accommodating a maximum of 2 adults & 2 children under the age of 12 years.
Each Luxury Suite is tastefully decorated with a range of amenities for guests’ comfort and enjoyment. Décor is typically African in flavour and all suites have a king-size 4-poster bed as well as an en suite bathroom. Each of the suites feature a comfortable outdoor sitting area with 2 out of the 4 suites offering a personal, relaxing plunge pool. The suites have a lounge area with a flat screen TV (selected DSTV channels), and a fireplace.
Executive Suite
Executive Suite, accommodating a maximum of two adults, no children.
Incorporating every conceivable luxury, the Executive Suite features a comfortable king-size bed with luxurious linens and splashes of colour throughout. Bask in the glorious African sun and relax in the private plunge pool located on your exclusive private patio. The suite also has a Nespresso machine and flat screen television with limited DSTV channels.
Family suite
1 x Family suite, accommodating 2 adults and 3 children under 12 years old

Private Villa
The Private Villa features 4 standard rooms, all en suite and can accommodate 8 guests. The villa also features a private pool, private ranger and game viewer, and lounge with television. Meals are enjoyed at the Main Lodge.

CHILDREN
Children of all ages are welcome at Ivory Tree Game Lodge. Children under the age of 6 are accommodated on safari by means of a 'bush bumble'. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on normal game drives and children between the ages of 6 and 12 only allowed at the discretion of the game ranger. Baby-sitting can be arranged at the lodge at an additional charge.

Ivory Tree Game Lodge hosts two fully equipped conference venues, accommodating 70 delegates.

WILDLIFE, BIRDLIFE & NATURE
Pilanesberg National Park is home to the Big 5 mammals and also a range of other wildlife species like the nocturnal Brown Hyena, Cheetah, Sable, Giraffe, Kudu, Springbok, Impala, Zebra, Hippo and Crocodile, to mention but a few.
Birdlife is abundant with more than 300 bird species recorded.

Pilanesberg Game Reserve is approximately 2 hours’ drive from Johannesburg. Access to Ivory Tree Game Lodge is via the Bakgatla Gate.
