Impodimo Game Lodge offers luxury accommodation in Madikwe Game Reserve. The lodge is near a natural spring and also situated along a ridge, with panoramic views of the reserve. Early morning and late afternoon game drives will give you the opportunity to view a wide variety of wildlife species, including the legendary Big 5 mammals. Madikwe Game Reserve is in the North West Province and is malaria free. It is situated against the Botswana border, 90 km north of Zeerust, about 4 hours’ drive from Pretoria and Johannesburg.

Impodimo Game Lodge accommodation consists of 8 standard suites and 2 deluxe suites.

CHILDREN

Impodimo loves to share all the wonders and excitement that an African game reserve has with children. The safety of children is of paramount importance and therefore the participation of children is limited on safaris designed to bring you, the parent, close to big game. For this reason Impodimo has created the concept of the 'bush bumble', where parents are encouraged to join their children on a game drive designed to focus on the little things.

ACTIVITIES

The lodge offers dawn and dusk safari game drives. The safaris are carefully timed to ensure optimal seasonal comfort. Bush walks under supervision of registered Field Guides / Rangers are conducted.

WILDLIFE, BIRDLIFE & NATURE

Madikwe Game Reserve is one of South Africa's prime safari destinations. The rich diversity of vegetation ensures a wide range of game and the topography offers ideal game viewing opportunities.

Madikwe is home to 66 mammal species including the Big Five and more than 350 resident and migrant bird species.

DIRECTIONS

Madikwe Game Reserve is approximately 4 Hours’ drive from Johannesburg, following the route via Zeerust before proceeding north. The lodge is accessed via Wonderboom Gate. Access to the lodge is either by road or by air.

Air transfers from Grand Central Airport or Johannesburg International Airport are available. There is no charge for the transfer from the air strip at Madikwe to Impodimo Game Lodge.
