Nungubane Game Lodge is situated in the spectacular Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, an unspoilt reserve in the Waterberg region of Limpopo.
Nungubane Game Lodge, set in Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, offers spectacular Big 5 game viewing safaris in the scenic Waterberg region of Limpopo Province.
Guests at the malaria free Nungubane Game Lodge can also look forward to experience the warm atmosphere, efficient service, delicious cuisine and fantastic game viewing opportunities the lodge offers. The luxury accommodation for only 10 guests consist of 5 spacious chalets each with views from their private decks.
By road Welgevonden is about 3 hours north of Johannesburg.

WILDLIFE, BIRDLIFE & NATURE
Welgevonden Private Game Reserve in an International Biosphere area and is one of South Africa's Top 10 Big 5 game reserves. It is in a malaria free area and borders the well-known Marakele National Park.
Set in the Waterberg, Welgevonden has typical mountainous topography with valleys and ravines, while the vegetation includes bushveld and grassland savannah.
Besides the Big 5, more than 50 mammal species 260 birds have been recorded.
LOCATION & ACCESS
Access to Nungubane Game Lodge in Welgevonden Private Game Reserve is either by road or by air.
It is about 3 hour’s by road from Johannesburg near Vaalwater (Mabatlane), in Limpopo Province. The entrance is at the West Gate where secure parking is provided and a vehicle will transport you to Nungubane Game Lodge.
There is a landing strip in close proximity to Nungubane.
