Springbok Lodge is situated in the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, a conservancy offering pristine, malaria-free bushveld and home to the Big 5.
Springbok Lodge is a luxury Game Lodge located in Nambiti Private Game Reserve, a prime Big 5 malaria-free reserve in KwaZulu-Natal.
This lodge epitomises the perfect safari experience with beautiful appointed tented suites, service excellence, superb cuisine and prolific wildlife, ensuring a memorable safari in South Africa.
This superb Lodge offers a Value-For-Money getaway for those planning a Family getaway, a Leisure getaway, a Conference or a Corporate get together.
Nambiti Private Game Reserve is ideally situated midway between Durban (about 3 hours) and Johannesburg (4 to 4½ hours) with easy access off the N3 and a stone’s throw away from the Central Berg, Battlefields in the Spioenkop, Rorke’s Drift and Isandlwana areas.
ACCOMMODATION
Luxury Tented Accommodation
Each of the luxurious air-conditioned tents have their own private viewing deck with scenic views.
Included in these 21 luxury tents are 6 Family Units that can accommodate a family with 2 adults & 2 children in an open plan bedroom with en-suite facilities.
The remaining luxury tents are 15 x Standard 2-sleeper en-suite tents, with a king bed or twin beds as required.
Springbok Lodge can accommodate 54 guests in total (42 adults and 12 children).
Two of the tents are adjacent to the lodge and equipped with an access ramp instead of stairs, catering for wheelchair-bound guests and those with mobility challenges.

DINING
On fine summer and balmy winter nights, guests can arrange to dine around a crackling fire in the boma, an experience which is sure to be a highlight of your stay. The bush breakfasts are exciting for guests as the staff literally set up a 'kitchen' in a scenic spot on the reserve.
CHILDREN
- Children of all ages are welcome at Springbok Lodge
- Children under age 2 are not permitted to go on any game drives – a baby-siting service is available (by prior arrangement) at the lodge. The baby-sitting fee is not included in the lodge rates.
- Camp/Travel cots (including linen-not pillows) and high chairs (for meal times) are available for guests with little ones at no additional charge.
- Guests should be advised that the pool area is not fenced.
- A custom built kiddies jungle gym is located near the lodge – including slide, swings, cargo net and sand pit.
WELLNESS HEALTH & BEAUTY SPA
Massage Treatments are conducted at a separate Tent for your privacy, peace and tranquillity. Bookings for Treatments should preferably be made prior to arrival.
CONFERENCES
Nestled in the bush, this conference venue represents a perfect base for strategic meetings, team building or motivational sessions for a maximum of 30 delegates..The state of the art conference venue includes a data projector, surround sound, DVD / video player, stationary and whiteboard.
WEDDINGS
Springbok Lodge has become a choice venue for intimate weddings. The picture perfect venue with distinctive ambiance, offers you a unique wedding day. The packages are personalised to your requirements, with excellent accommodation for guests and superb cuisine.
- Small intimate weddings for a maximum of 40 guests, tailor made to suit the requirements of the bride and groom.
- Bush Ceremony or Lodge Ceremony followed by reception and dinner at the Lodge.
WILDLIFE, BIRDLIFE & NATURE
Springbok Lodge is situated in the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, a conservancy offering pristine, malaria-free bushveld. The reserve is home to the Big Five, as well as cheetah, hippo and over 30 species of plains game. Nature lovers will enjoy the area's biodiversity, with Thornveld and majestic Acacia trees complementing extensive grassland. The abundant natural water system, with perennial rivers and a beautiful waterfall as well as cascades on the Sundays River, makes for a unique sanctuary. There is an abundance of bird species including a variety of raptors.
