CHILDREN

Children of all ages are welcome at Cheetah Ridge Lodge. Children aged 2 and under are not permitted on game drives. Babysitting services are available at an extra fee.

WILDLIFE, BIRDLIFE & NATURE

Cheetah Ridge Lodge is situated in the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, a conservancy offering pristine, malaria-free bushveld. The reserve is home to the Big Five, as well as cheetah, hippo and over 30 species of plains game. Nature lovers will enjoy the area's biodiversity, with Thornveld and majestic Acacia trees complementing extensive grassland. The abundant natural water system, with perennial rivers and a beautiful waterfall as well as cascades on the Sundays River, makes for a unique sanctuary. There is an abundance of bird species including a variety of raptors.

LOCATION

The Nambiti Private Game Reserve is in KwaZulu-Natal, about 25 km's east of Ladysmith and only 4½ hours from Johannesburg, 3½ hours from Durban and 90 minutes from the Drakensberg. Please enquire for driving directions.
